Ephesians 3
Paul offers us some amazing encouragement here in Chapter 3 but he also shares with us an amazing responsibility. The church is to be the reflection of God's wisdom to the heavenly powers and authorities. This should at least make us ask ourselves..."Am I doing my part to make the church a reflection of what it's supposed to be?" Though these are powerful themes there are still other things to be discovered in this passage. What are the things God is speaking to you as you read through this chapter?

I read this weeks chapter a few days ago and didn't really take much from it, but I just read it again and found a few things I really liked. The first is the humility of Paul, in verse 8 he talks about how in spite of his being less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given to him. I have to confess that I don't always think of myself as less than the least, but perhaps I could use a little more humility. The next bit that stood out to me had to do with God's plan and how in Jesus and through faith in him we can approach God freely and confidently, I think we may take this for granted at times, but it is good to be reminded. The third thing was the prayer at the end of the chapter. If we could own that prayer and make it our own I think we would become a more accurate reflection of God's love.
